Great Exhibitions This Weekend

Yesterday, I went to three exhibitions in Tokyo. First, ’The cosmos in a tea bowl’ at the national museum of modern art was so beautiful. I saw a plethora of tea bowls from the 16th century to now. I felt cosmos from them and I posted my illustration of it on my instagram. Next, I went to an exhibition by Eriko Hirano at Sapce Yui gallery. There were many illustrations about lovely goods that she can’t throw away. For example, cute boxes of cookies and matches, labels of clothes, etc… She loves Japanese traditional culture, and she is such a lovely woman! So I think her painting taste is a lovely Japanese style. Lastly, I saw 'Toko Shinoda in the autumn of my years… 'at Tomo museum. Her style of abstract painting by caligraphy was so dynamic and chic. She is 104 years old now. A picture that she was painting and wearing a kimono is very inspiring for me. A woman next to me told that she always wear kimono. If you are in Tokyo in this weekend, I recommend these exhibitions! I would love to express my identity like them. By the way, today’s photo’s were shot at Kokyogaien National Gardens. I recommend there, too!!!
